About the Luminous lightening peel
What it’s for
Dark spots and uneven tone.
For dark spots, uneven tone and hyperpigmentation.
What happens
- Cleanse, then degrease so the peel takes evenly across the face.
- The peel is applied in layers and timed, with us watching the skin the whole way.
- Neutralised, then a cooling mask to settle everything down.
- Brightening serum, moisturiser and SPF to finish.
What to expect after
A warm flush for a few hours. Over the next three to five days you may get light flaking, closer to dry skin than to shedding. Tone reads more even once that has passed.
Who it’s not for
Not during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on broken or sunburned skin, during a cold sore, or within six months of isotretinoin. Stop retinoids five days beforehand.
If you are not sure whether any of this applies to you, say so when you book. We would rather move your appointment than treat skin that is not ready for it.
Aftercare
No acids, retinoids or scrubs for a week. Moisturise more than usual and do not help the flaking along. SPF 50 every morning — pigmentation returns fastest on unprotected skin.
