Train with the people who do this every day

Small groups, real clients and the hours signed off properly. Every course is taught in the spa, assessed practically, and certificated only when the attendance and the marks are actually there.

03 — How it works

From application to certificate

No payment is taken online, and no one is rushed. This is the whole process.

  1. Apply online

Choose an intake and send a short application — for yourself, or on someone’s behalf.

  2. The academy calls you

To talk the course through, check it is the right one, and answer your questions.

  3. Pay the deposit

The deposit is what holds your place. An application alone does not reserve one.

  4. Train with us

Small groups, a register at every class, and practical work assessed as you go.

  5. Earn the certificate

Issued once the attendance, the marks and the fees are all complete.

For parents, guardians & sponsors

Paying for someone else’s training?

Many of our students are supported by a parent, a relative or an employer. Here is what you can expect from us.

Under-18s need your consent

No one under 18 is enrolled without a parent or guardian’s details and consent on file. You can apply on their behalf.

Every payment is receipted

Payments are recorded against the student’s place whoever makes them, with who paid and the receipt reference, so the balance is always clear.

Attendance is taken every class

A register is kept for every class. A class the academy cancels never counts against a student, and an excused absence is left out of the calculation.

A certificate that means something

It carries a unique serial number the academy can confirm for any employer who asks — and it is only issued when the work has been done.

05 — Questions

Before you apply

The questions we are asked most. Anything else, ask us directly.

Do I pay anything when I apply?

No. The application is free and nothing is charged online. The academy calls you first; your place is held once the deposit is paid.

The intake I want is full. Should I still apply?

Yes. A full intake stays open to applications as a waiting list. Places do come free, and a place that does can be offered to someone on it.

Can a parent, relative or employer pay the fees?

Yes. Payments are recorded against the student’s place whoever makes them, with the payer’s name on the receipt.

What does it take to earn the certificate?

Three things, all of them written down per course: the minimum attendance, a final grade at or above the pass mark with every assessment marked, and the fees cleared. Each course page shows its exact requirements.

What if I am ill and miss a class?

Tell the academy. An absence recorded as excused is taken out of the attendance calculation entirely, rather than counted against you.

I am under 18. Can I apply?

Yes — or a parent or guardian can apply for you. Before enrolment the academy needs your date of birth and a parent or guardian’s details and consent.
