1. Cleanse, then numbing cream, which needs twenty to thirty minutes to work properly.
2. The needling pass itself, at a depth chosen per area of the face.
3. Repair serums pressed into freshly opened skin, while it will take them.
4. A calming mask, barrier cream and mineral SPF.

Skin looks like moderate sunburn for the rest of the day and feels warm and tight. That settles over 24 to 48 hours, then the skin is rough and dry for two or three days before it smooths. Results build over a course — one session is a start, not the answer.

Not during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on active acne, infection or cold sores, over raised or keloid scarring, or within six months of isotretinoin. Tell us about blood-thinning medication and any bleeding disorder.

If you are not sure whether any of this applies to you, say so when you book. We would rather move your appointment than treat skin that is not ready for it.
